Amazing news this week as we found out we'd been made finalist for a Lovie Award for Best Editing for our Shoreditch Trust mini-doc, Blue Marble. The Lovies is the European sister of the Webbys, celebrating the very best of the web so we're pretty pumped to know that we're in the running for a prize.
In fact we're in the running for a couple of prizes, as finalists we're automatically up for a People's Choice Award as well. You know what they say, "it's like lotto, you've got to be in it to win it."
If you've got a couple of minutes we'd love you to go vote for us here.
We actually won our first Lovie Award a few years ago, for our film Will's Story, which got a Bronze for Best Animation. This time, the competition does seem to be significantly stronger, with our film being up against the likes of Vice and Ikea in the Best Editing category.
We're making a concerted effort to enter our work into more awards so hopefully we'll be able to post more news like this in the not too distant future.
